Mimaki’s leading LED-UV printer and UV-curable inks approved for the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program: delivering high application performance and long-term durability guarantees

Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tomi City, Nagano, Japan; President and CEO: Kazuaki Ikeda), a manufacturer of industrial inkjet printers, cutting plotters, and 3D printers, announces that its high-quality large-format printer Mimaki UCJV330 Series and the UV-curable inks Mimaki LUS-170 Ink and Mimaki LUS-175 Ink used in the printer have been approved for the 3M MCS Warranty Program.

The 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program is the most comprehensive warranty for finished graphic products in the industry. The warranty provides non-prorated coverage for the intended lifespan of graphics, including protection against fading, cracking, peeling, bubbling, discoloration, and other performance issues, giving print service providers and their customers confidence that their graphics will perform as expected throughout the intended life of the printed graphic.

Mimaki’s flagship LED-UV printer, the UCJV330 series, together with LUS-170 and LUS-175 inks, has been approved for the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program. UV-curable inks eliminate the need for drying after printing, allowing immediate lamination and installation.

In addition, LUS-170/LUS-175 inks offer high elasticity, providing excellent adaptability to curved surfaces. This certification allows Mimaki to provide customers not only with high performance in graphic production applications such as signage and vehicle wraps, but also with the added value of long-term durability guarantees.
