FineCut/Coat9 software is the latest generation plug-in for Mimaki cutting plotters to meet the highly demanding professional requirements of custom layouts and high-precision contour cutting. Supporting both Adobe® Illustrator® and CorelDraw® on Windows and Macintosh platforms, it is a crucial and user-friendly work tool for every sign maker.
Supports job output from third-party… laser engraving machines
Job transmission to third-party laser engraving machines is now supported.
Users of Mimaki cutting equipment can use the FineCut9 plugin to work on laser engraving machines in the same way they use Mimaki plotters.
ID-Cut*…for optimized print and cut processes.
Automatic cutting is possible thanks to the printed barcode and the recognition of this identification information by the cutting device.
This function automatically determines the correct orientation of the loaded media, reducing waste of media, ink, and time caused by communication errors and incorrect media loading.
Frame and contour extraction… for automatic frame creation.
Contour extraction allows automatic creation of the contour (cut line) based on the characteristics of the object.
In the case of closed-shape elements (for example certain letters), work efficiency increases because the contour can be created simultaneously both inside and outside the graphic areas.
Contour extraction enables quick and easy creation of a contour directly from bitmap files such as BMP, JPEG, and TIFF.
Independent registration… of each material parameter.
When cutting hard or thick materials, it sometimes happens that they cannot be cut in a single pass.
A predefined setting for different types of materials simplifies and speeds up the cutting process in the most optimal way.
Additional settings such as the number of cutting passes, speed, tool pressure, and other parameters for a single cutting line are features of FineCut9 that optimize cutting for each material.
