Cutting and Creasing with a Single Compact Unit

Tangential Cutter for Thicker Materials

The blade can cut not only thick materials up to 2 mm but also thin films, through precise control of high and low downforce pressure.

Optimal materials for tangential cutting:
Coated board, reflective vinyl, rubber sheets, industrial materials, F/G flute corrugated cardboard.

Optimal materials for oscillating cutting: cardboard, plastic foam board, sponge.

Oscillating Cutter for Soft Foam Materials

The blade cuts thick materials through a vertical oscillating motion, making it ideal for cutting foam and cardboard. Additionally, the blade can cut a wide variety of material thicknesses through precise control of the blade edge direction.

Note: A felt mat must be placed on the cutting table under the material before cutting.

Vacuum Unit for Securing Materials During Cutting

The movement of lightweight or thin materials during cutting is reduced through a combination of features:

  • Built-in vacuum unit secures the material

  • Absorption sheet (SPC-0787) placed over the material enhances the vacuum effect

Note:

  • The felt mat 605 (SPC-0785) must be placed on the cutting table during oscillating cutting

  • Materials that cannot be securely held by the vacuum unit require taping at all four corners

  • Absorption sheet (SPC-0787) is sold separately
