CG-FXII Plus Introduces the New ID Cut Function to Significantly Improve Work Efficiency

In collaboration with the JV300-160 Plus, continuous cutting operations can be performed automatically for small-quantity orders and multiple products, such as stickers and labels. This allows the entire operation to be completed based on a single data specification, enabling operators to simultaneously proceed with other tasks.

New ID Cut Function
ID Cut for Continuous and Automated Cutting Operations

  • A new “ID Cut” function has been adopted, allowing for automatic continuous cutting operations.
  • The “ID Cut” function automatically scans registration marks printed with an ID, then reads and executes the cut according to the cutting data. Previously, operators had to manually scan registration marks and specify cutting data for each job. The implementation of the new “ID Cut” function now enables continuous, unattended operations, allowing operators to execute other tasks simultaneously while the machine performs the cutting.

Key Features

Rapid Continuous Registration Mark Detection Using Optical Sensor

An optical sensor allows for consecutive automatic detection of registration marks throughout the nested image printed by the inkjet printer, combined with the automatic adjustment function to achieve precise contour cuts.

FineCut9

Registration mark position data, received via commands from the included standard FineCut software, allows for rapid movement between marks, achieving cutting with reduced effort and without stress on the material.

The required media length is pre-fed to reduce tension during cutting. This function increases cutting accuracy for large-format media.

“HALF CUT” Mechanism, a Mimaki Proprietary Technology

With the original half cut function, the media can be cut while leaving a few partially cut connection points, which can be easily detached when needed. It also allows for cutting various materials without a backing liner.

CG-FXIIPlus_Engineered Head Unit

Professionally Engineered Head Unit

The media is automatically cut using standard sheet cutters.

Other Features

  • Selectable pinch roller pressure with high and low settings for precise cutting of various materials

  • Three selectable jog speeds for easy and accurate head positioning at the desired point

  • The over-cut function overlaps the start and end points, eliminating uncut portions of the media

  • Media can be loaded from the front or the back

  • Up to 6 media rolls can be set simultaneously (1 standard set)

  • Plug-in cutting software for CorelDRAW and Illustrator is included

  • Includes a special adapter for using commercial pens and a USB interface
